About Tamil Nadu ITI

In Tamil Nadu, Vocational Education responsibility will be taken by the Directorate of Employment and Training (DET).  The aim of ITI is to provide Industrialization in India.  These Vocational Trade programs will be useful to the students to become technically qualified in the particular trade. The policies pertaining to Vocational Education are controlled by the National Council of Vocational Training and the state council of vocational training. The main objective of Vocational Training is to develop Technical skills in the candidates. Upon completion of the courses, the Institute gives SCVT NCVT Trade certificates. Based on these course certificates, candidates can roll for jobs at the National /State level.
