Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki University was established in 1998 by Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998. The university is marching towards the development of technical education research, and innovations. Besides, RGPV specializes in fields like Forensic Science, Management, Engineering, Fashion, Space Sciences, Social Work, Nanotechnology, Communication, and Pharmacy. There are around five  UTD’s, 200 affiliated Engineering Colleges, 98 Pharmacy Colleges, 95 MCA Colleges, and four Architecture Colleges imparting Graduate level education. They are offering around 17 undergraduate level courses, and about 85 polytechnic colleges are offering diploma programs.
