These are the paramilitary forces of India which work at various level for security at Indian boundaries, intelligence , and International security. By their assigned area all these forces comes under Ministry of Home Affairs which is sole decision making authority for defense of India.
Staff Selection Commission recruits candidates every year for various posts of Para Military forces but this is the biggest MASS Recruitment of SSC where they are about to employ 71000 young population of country. For post of GD Constable the educational qualification required are as follows:
Candidates with Matriculation certificate that is who have passed their 10th standard board exams can appear for the post .

SSC GD Application Fees: Application fees for general candidates and OBC candidates is Rs. 50/- whereas the reserved category and girls are exempted from the fee.
NEW NEWS (15th August 2017): As per reliable sources regarding SSC Constable GD Notification will be released on 05th August and all qualified applicants will be able to submit online registration form till 4th September 2017. SSC Constable GD Exam 2017-18 is expected to be held from 30th January to 05th February 2018.
Selection Procedure : All applicants applying for Constable GD recruitment 2017 have to go through four steps to get selected. According to the marks scored by the candidates at each level a merit list will be prepared and the final selection will take place on the basis of this merit list.
Level I : Online Written Test
Level II: Physical Standard Test (PST)
Level III : Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Level IV: Medical Test
Payment information: All Constable will be paid under Pay Band-I, Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-.
For time allotted and number of question for SSC GD Constable application 2017 :
There will be 100 questions, for each question will carry one mark that means there will be a total 100 mark question paper comprising of 100 questions and time given for exam will be 2 hours that is 120 minutes.
To Apply for this Post of SSC Constable GD 2017 Candidates must follow the following steps:
Step 1: Log on to www.ssc.nic.in and click on the link for Constable GD 2017.
Step 2. Fill in the details as given on the 10th certificate. Any discrepancy of the details will lead to cancellation of the registration form.
Step 3. After filling up the details of registration I, go to registration II and upload your scanned Photo and Signature in JPGE format .
Step 4. If you are not exempted of the payment you will be redirected to the payment gateway.
Step 5. After completion of the payment click on submit and get the printout of the application form for further reference.
